This chocolate chip cookie dough dip is creamy, sweet, and perfect for dipping! A no-bake dessert that’s ready in minutes.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 8-10 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup butter, at room temperature
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup mini chocolate chips, divided

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and cream cheese: In a large mixing bowl, add the softened butter and cream cheese. Use a hand mixer to beat them together until smooth and creamy. This usually takes about 2-3 minutes. (Pro tip: make sure both are truly at room temperature so they blend easily without any lumps.)
  2. Add in the sugars and salt: Next, add the brown sugar, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Continue mixing until everything is well incorporated. The brown sugar will add a bit of grainy texture initially, but as you mix, it should dissolve into the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips: Set aside about 2 tablespoons of mini chocolate chips for garnish. Stir the rest into the dip mixture using a rubber spatula, making sure they’re evenly distributed.
  4. Transfer and garnish: Scoop the dip into your serving bowl and sprinkle the reserved chocolate chips on top. This little touch makes the dip look extra inviting.
  5. Serve and enjoy: Pair the dip with a variety of dippers—think graham crackers, pretzels, vanilla wafers, or even fruit slices like apples.

Notes

This dip is best enjoyed fresh, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Just give it a quick stir before serving, as it might firm up a bit in the fridge. To soften it, you can let it sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes.
