Make these adorable Grinch Christmas Truffles for a holiday treat everyone will love. Easy, delicious, and perfect for the season!

  • Total Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Yield: 18

Ingredients

  • 36 Regular Oreos
  • ½ cup whipped cream cheese spread
  • 12 ounces (½ 24-ounce) package vanilla almond bark
  • Green gel food coloring
  • 18 red heart sprinkles

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreos
Pop the Oreos into a food processor or blender and blend them into fine crumbs. This takes about 2-3 minutes, and you’ll know it’s ready when there are no large chunks left. If you’re using the bag-and-rolling-pin method, aim for a sandy texture.

  • Mix with cream cheese
Transfer the Oreo crumbs to a large mixing bowl and stir in the whipped cream cheese. It might look a little messy at first, but trust me—using your hands works wonders to get everything combined into a thick, sticky dough.

  • Shape into balls
Use your cookie scoop to portion out the mixture, then roll each scoop into a smooth ball with your hands. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Don’t worry if they’re not perfect—imperfect shapes make them feel homemade!

  • Chill until firm
Pop the tray into the fridge for at least 30 minutes (or up to an hour). This helps the truffles hold their shape when dipping them in the almond bark.

  • Prepare the coating
Melt the almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 1-minute intervals and stirring well between each one. It should take about 2 minutes total. Once melted, stir in green gel food coloring until you get the perfect Grinchy shade.

  • Dip and decorate
Using a fork or dipping tool, coat each truffle in the green almond bark, letting the excess drip off before placing them back on the parchment paper. While the coating is still soft, gently press a red heart sprinkle onto the top of each truffle.

  • Chill again
Return the truffles to the fridge for another 30 minutes to an hour, allowing the coating to harden completely.

  • Serve and enjoy!
Serve them chilled or at room temperature, depending on your preference. Either way, they’re guaranteed to disappear quickly!

How to serve your Grinch truffles

Presentation is key when it comes to holiday treats! Arrange your truffles on a festive platter lined with greenery or mini Christmas ornaments. You can also place them in mini cupcake liners for a polished touch. Pair these with hot cocoa topped with whipped cream and candy canes, or serve alongside a spread of other cookies and desserts.
