This easy brownie batter dip is rich, creamy, and perfect for dipping with fruit, cookies, or crackers. A must-try dessert for chocolate lovers!

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 10 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces of softened cream cheese
  • ½ cup of unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups of powdered sugar
  • ½ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup of heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Cream the base ingredients
Start by placing the softened cream cheese and butter in a large mixing bowl. Grab your hand mixer (or stand mixer) and beat them together until the mixture is smooth and fluffy. This step is super important – if your cream cheese and butter aren’t soft enough, you’ll end up with lumps. Trust me, I’ve made that mistake before!
  2. Add the dry ingredients
Now, add in the powdered sugar and unsweetened cocoa powder. Start mixing on low to avoid a cloud of cocoa powder going everywhere (learned that the hard way too!). Once it starts to come together, you can increase the speed and blend until it’s nice and smooth.
  3. Pour in the vanilla and cream
Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract to the mixture. Beat on medium speed until everything is fully combined and the dip reaches a creamy, dippable consistency. If you like a thicker dip, feel free to add a little less cream, or if you want it even softer, add a splash more.
  4. Serve and enjoy
Spoon the dip into a serving bowl and surround it with your favorite dippables – think strawberries, banana slices, graham crackers, or even pretzels. And there you have it, a rich, chocolatey brownie batter dip ready to impress!

Notes

If you have any leftovers (rare, but it happens!), transfer the dip into an airtight container and store it in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Just make sure to give it a good stir before serving again, as the dip might firm up a bit in the fridge. If it’s too thick, add a splash of cream or milk and stir until smooth.
